Winter Skills Courses

Mountain Recreation provides winter skills courses to a wide range of clients, including Mountain Rescue teams and school/college groups. Courses typically take place in the Cairngorm National Park and can cover a range of skills to suit your needs, including:

Movement in winter, including use of ice axe and crampons
Making shelters, including digging snow holes
Mountain weather, planning and avalanche awareness
Navigation in the winter mountains
Snow and Ice climbing
